Cotton cord
Single-twist and braided cotton in bone, ecru, and charcoal. Thicknesses from 3 mm to 5 mm cover plant hangers and wall panels. We avoid overly glossy blends that slip under square knots.

What we keep on the shelves for workshops and commissions — practical fibre, not novelty kits.
Mounts
Sanded oak and beech dowels, metal rings, and occasional driftwood only when a commission requests it. Dowels are cut to length on site so hangings match your wall niche.
Shared tools
Sharp fabric scissors, measuring tapes, S-hooks, clip boards, and a small steamer for settling fringe. Please do not bring craft knives; we keep cutting tools controlled at the bench.
Take-home extras
Extra hanks can be purchased after class (€12–€28). We note the brand and diameter on a slip so you can reorder matching cord later if you continue at home.
Care after class
Hang finished pieces away from direct shower steam and heavy cooking grease. Dust with a soft brush or low vacuum on upholstery setting. Spot-clean cotton carefully; full immersion can relax knots unevenly. If a fringe tassels more than you like, return during Open Cord Evening and we will re-trim with you.
Outdoor commissions use a different rope specification and a separate quote. Indoor workshop pieces are intended for dry interiors. Pets that chew cord should be kept away from hanging fringe — this is craft advice, not a product safety certification.
Open Cord Evening (€35) lets you bring leftover cord from a previous session or purchase a hank on arrival. Seats are limited; message ahead if you need a specific thickness reserved. Full formats remain listed on the catalog.
