Privacy notice

This notice explains how Aspects Effacing Macramé (“we”), located at 12 Rue Aldringen, L-1118 Luxembourg, processes personal data in connection with workshop bookings and this website. We comply with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) as applicable in Luxembourg and with guidance from the Commission nationale pour la protection des données (CNPD).

Data we collect

We may process your name, email address, phone number, message content, workshop preferences, and payment references when you book a session or buy materials. Technical data such as cookie preferences stored in your browser may also be processed as described in our cookie notice.

Purposes and legal bases

We process data to respond to enquiries, manage bookings, issue invoices, improve the atelier’s operations, and meet accounting obligations. Legal bases include performance of a contract or pre-contractual steps (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR), legitimate interests in running a small workshop business (Art. 6(1)(f)), and consent where you opt into optional analytics cookies (Art. 6(1)(a)).

Retention

Booking and invoice records are kept for the periods required under Luxembourg commercial and tax rules. Enquiry emails that do not lead to a booking are typically deleted within twelve months. Cookie choices remain in your browser until you clear storage or change preferences.

Recipients

We do not sell personal data. Processors such as email or payment providers may receive data only as needed to deliver their service under appropriate agreements. Transfers outside the EEA occur only with suitable safeguards if a provider requires them.

Your rights

You may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, or portability of your data, and object to processing based on legitimate interests, subject to legal limits. Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw consent at any time without affecting prior lawful processing.
